lack of great games on the 360

Idon't know what's your opinion on it, but I'm sensing a huge lack of any decent 360-games at the moment. i have my console from may 2006 and the only games that I really enjoyed were cod2, gears and of course oblivion. there's a need of some really "cool" games like we had on the "old" box; like ninja gaiden and some good RPG's; can't wait to get my hands on mass effect.

Hope the second half of this year fulfills al my gaming-needs.

Sure, there is a ton of games i'm looking forward to, i hope they live up the hype!! But i find it rather disappointing that we don't have a lot of top-games up to date, the console is already 1 and a half years old!!

I think there's lack of great games on all next gen consoles. If you consider that Resistance, VF 5 and Ridge racer are launch titles, Ps3 situation is even worse

yeah previous year not much good except GOW, Oblivion, the rest is fun but not as good as you thought they would be.

this year forza 2, BIA will own the lists and there will be some other games that are really good.

I totally agree with you Joe. I looked at the list of 360's games and its packed with shooting games... If you go in a shop all you see is shooting games... The list had like what, 3 roleplaying games? and ass for decent RPG's theres FF12(but you might aswell buy WOW and pay less each month...) and then theres PSO (from what I've seen its just a remake of the dreamcast one to cash-in, I played the old one and it was great howveer thecosts were funny = 1 pound an hour...)

Maybe you should just try more of what's available. You have to actually get your hands on the games and see for yourself if you like them..bdhoff

 It's a gamespot glitch. Don't fear soon you will have the right number back:)

burnout revenge is still the best racing game ever made, F.E.A.R. is an excellant port of a great game, viva pinata is also quite good. crackdown is really fun if you play coop/rocket tag with a friend.

and in the next few months there is going to be a massive surge of exclusive kick ass games, shadowrun, mass effect, bioshock, Huxley, halo 3 and there is all the mulitplatform games, the darkness, unreal tournament 3, guitair hero 2, devil may cry 4 and i'm sure i'm forgetting some. its a good time to be gamer.

i think that graw 2, gears of war, cod 3, crackdown are great games and waiting for UT3 and Halo 3

There are acutally quite a few good titles, not everything has to be a AAA titles to be considered a great game.

i kind of agree with you, but then again i'm very picky in the games i spend money on. that's why i only have gears and oblivion. currently hyped for mass effect as well!

but you're also wrong. there are tons of decent games for the 360 (saint's row, dead rising, viva pinata, pgr3 etc), but you're right in that there aren't that many "OMGWTF I NEED THIS" kind of games.
