I was looking around on gamespot to find a good horror game to buy, but couldn't find anything except Condemned. I know there's some good titles coming out ( Alan Wake, Alone in the Dark 5, Resident Evil 5 and Jericho) but are there an games out now that will thrill me up?
Try a game like Bomberman, if you survive the horror of that game you should be all set. Really though, Condemned is creepy as it gets. Also, try some BC games, I think Manhunt is BC and that's kind of survival horror with stealth elements. There's also all the Silent Hill games, though I don't know offhand if they are BC.

Did you play Call of Cthulu?

So what horror game are you looking most forward to? Mine is obviously RE 5, but other than that it's Jericho and perhaps Alone in The Dark ( it depends on how they will make it with those episodic content)

Cthulu is an awsome game. At little frustrating, and kinda buggy on a 360 using BC. But still is a cool game, very very immersive. You can get it for the PC aswell. The sound of walking when your legs are broke hurts me inside. Also if FPSs make you dizzy this will make you puke everywhere. Really hope they make another for the 360.
I am dying for "The Big Three" horror games (Alan Wake, RE5 and Alone in the Dark) to come out. I love all sorts of games but those are the ones I really get into. Nothing better than playing them late at night with the lights out, surround sound on, and the hair on the back of your neck standing up. All from a game! Gotta love it!
I'm not sure that I can say that I got scared in F.E.A.R. The Japanese-psychotic-horror (as I like to call them) don't fit my taste. But considering FPS games, Halflife 2 got me shouting in panic a couple of times, I don't say that it is a scary game, but the way they work up the tension is nice :P. Condemned was also pretty decent horror FPS.

It is, but it seems like its not the best emulation. Get it though, its really cheap.

Dude I am so with you on that. RE 1 actually got me back into gaming after a long hiatus. I wish there were a lot more as well. I cannot wait for the co-op zombie game to come out, now that looks good. Dead Rising is supposed to get Co op as well later.

Read up on Left 4 Dead. Should be coming out this year. Looks fantastic with a big focus on Multi playmgow
Yup! Almost forgot about this one. The online play seems to be promising. Resident Evil: Outbreak tried to pull of multiplayer but they failed bigtime. Hope this doesn't happen with Left 4 Dead.

It was actually in the Rumor Mill section where they said "Capcom is reanimating the campy zombie game as an Xbox 360 Platinum hit, complete with a tasty extra: online co-op". I do happen to believe this story but take it for what it is worth.

Not much is out yet for the 360 in terms of Survival Horror games. Have you tried the Fatal Frame games for the origional xbox? They wern't as creepy as Silent Hill, but they have great stories and are fun to play.

A crucified monster that calls his minions and escapes doesn't scare you? Well it does scare me :P and the developer is known for making horrific games.
F.E.A.R was definiltly not a scary game at all. Its just walking thru a bunch of buildings that look a like and you're killing the same 4-5 enemies over and over and over again.
Condemned is a really good game but a little short. It will leave skid marks in your shorts :o . If you have never played it rent it or you can find it cheap used.

I agree, Condemned will probably be your best bet right now. But IMO the best i've played so far is Resident Evil 4 on the gamecube.
