Hi Im going to get a 360 tomarrow and i was wondering if it was safe to get a used 360 from gamespot and if i get the core do i need a memory card or hardrive to save my games

it would be better New. You will need a hard drive if you plan to use XBL

Idk once I got one and it broke two days later because they don't really test them. They hook them up and play a game for 5 min(i traded one in). Also Yes you need a mem card to save games and no you don't need a hdd to use xbl. I have one core and use xbl with the mem card you just can't download map packs and that kind of stuff.

new and you need the hard drive to dowlload maps game demoes etc

I also recommend that you buy a new 360. You should buy the core package which comes with everything. (20GB hard drive, controller, media remote, console, ton of wires, that greyish box) Well I ment almost everything. You will need the hard drive if you want to save games or a memory stick, although memory stick won't be able to hold more than 3-5 games.

you might want to get it new because well idk about you but i dont like mess around with expensive hardware used plus you get teh 3 year warrenty out the box

nice gamespot sells 360's now cool.anyway i would suggest not getting a used 360 since there is no warranty and msoft really wont care.
