I was playing Halo 3 when all of a sudden my xbox goes off and i see the RROD, my TV goes back to the AV channel and my air condition shudders. I dont know if its serious or not because i think it may be because the air conditioner and the Xbox are in the same plug which is an extension form a wall plug so i can plug about 6 more plugs in. I got my Xbox last November. I turned my air condition off then turned back on my Xbox and continued playing, it started getting hot so i turned it back on and had no problems since.

Just wait. It'll screw up again. One of the numerous times I got the RROD (see sig) I would get it every now and then, restart it and it would be fine. Then one day it was dead completely.

I think you get a free shirt if you get more than 5 Red Ringed boxes (no purchase necessary).

Scary, and im so hyped for the UT3 Launch. I had a few other reasons why it happened though... Dust maybe? or Plug with air Conditioner.

Don't use a surge protector or it will kill your XBOX 360. Plug it in directly.

If the 360 experiences a situation where there is less voltage than the system requires to run then it will display the 3 rings. That's happened to me a couple of times on both of my 360's. In that case if you turn it off and then turn it back on it will be fine.

Ok, I got a heavy duty extension that came from an old air conditioner that does run as good any more. It gave me the length and now it has its own plug. I moved the xbox and it has a little bit more space and i took the power block, moved that and took two pencils, put them underneath so it doesnt get too hot.
