yes, it's fine... nothing is happening while it's in the drive other than sitting there (just like it would be doing in the case)

I used to with all my other systems but not with the 360, dunno why but it does stop my discs being put in the wrong cases.

I leave my games in the system.

I don't really worry about it.

When the system is off the only way the disk is gonna get damaged is if you something like smash the 360.

I take my games out.

It wont hurt it but I guess you could say I have a little OCD when it comes to my games, movies, and cds. They have to be neat, standing straight up, sequels with their prequels, same bands together, and so on.

unless your going to move the system, you can leave it in. If you plan to move the system while its on, dumb but take the disk out. And if you plan to travel with it, take the disk out bc it in cases can get loose and then your really in a bad place.

Leaving it in or out won't affect the dvd what so ever (when the 360 is off anway), but I would assume that opening and closing the drive tray everytime you turn off and power up would cause the motor to wear out faster. Why put extra wear on the dvd drive if you don't have to?

I sell my games occasionally but I have to not play them alot or get bored with them.
