Well what do you want to know..specifically?:P All i can say is that from what ive seen so far, ODST looks great, im getting it for sure. The campaign reminds me of CE due to the exploration BUT has you could see, ODST has a bigger map then say..the lvl Halo on CE and you can do whatever you want whenever you want. Firefight- Cant say nothing till i play it but it sure looks addictive, horde is awesome so this formula on Halo gotta work. Then you got all the extras like Halo reach beta, +3 mythic maps and the halo3 features like forge, so its a def buy. L42-I loved playing the 1st, didnt bought it though, damn that game with a bunch of friends is a blast and i have nothing against the sequel, if you can call it that, like some do :( Depending on the content, price, all that...ill probably think about buying it. Melee weapons look nice :D
Their both rip offs that don't have enough new content to be realsed as $60 games. Halo is wost because at least left for dead is a standalone game. Halo is an expansion pack and it includes the DLC in the price tag which means most people are essentially paying twice for DLC. Which i think is taking advantage of fans.
But regardless of the price tag they both look like they will be good games(even if they arent worth the price) and i think my inner gamer will over come my inner cheap sake and i'll end up buying both.
ODST looks pretty darn good. I was into Horde on GoW2 for a while but generally sucked at the game. ODST has some real promise about it. I do agree that it shouldn't be released at a full $60 due tot he fact that it is essentially the same game just with different character models and environments. Still though, I reserved a copy. Left for Dead is my freaking addiction. It's a great game that anyone can jump in and play which is good cause I live in a barracks and always have friends coming over. As for the 2nd addition to the (probably) saga that is Left for Dead, I am stoked for it! Can't wait to smash an infected face with a frying pan. The new bad beasties look dangerous as hell too!
I'm not sure what either game has to do with each other other than having guns and 4-player co-op. I look forward to ODST and have pre-ordered. I don't intend to get Left 4 Dead 2 because the original didn't have enough content to warrant sixty dollars. I don't expect much more from the sequel. I'll read the reviews and depending on how many people get it on my friends list I might get it. But it certainly isn't a day one purchase.
I think TC is asking because both games are in the firing line for not bringing enough new things to the table for the asking price. I for one will not be buying ODST at full price, it's a expansion. Mass effect 2, Uncharted 2, Modern warfare 2 are full games. ODST is not.

Haha Halo Riech...Hiel ze Mastah Chief! Reach has got me pretty excited too. I am not clear on what kind of game it will be in regards to FPS, RTS etc. but either way I'm probably gonna buy it. I don't play Halo anymore but thats not saying I won't get back into it. Mostly quit because of the players in the game...not so much the game itself.
