I was amazed by how stupid the AI was. They literally sat there without shooting while they were getting attacked. The only enemies they shot were special infected and they refused to heal themselves. Luckily I'll be buying it for co-op but I tried five games and they were all people messing around without headsets. I truly hope that stuff isn't common when I get the retail version. Although I do have a lot of friends that will be buying it so whatever. I wont be getting it until Christmas though.
I was considering the purchase however I only was given L4D recently by a friend so Ill just wait to become bored with that. I also just got MW2 so Ill be good for awhile. :P
I'll be getting it for Christmas. I'll try not to play it too much. I over played the first and got bored lol. but my friend is getting it, too. so we will have fun playing versus, so it's all good :D

yea that stuff pissed me off in the 1st one i never played online with random people they should change it in this one.
Hopefully the AI is better in the retail copy of L4D2 because the first L4D had great AI. They actually shot at the enemies and healed when they needed to.
the days leading up to it just seem to get longer QQ and the stupid AI makes the game so much funner for me and my friends. the stupid AI has become one of the things i love about l4d vs mode.
I was, and it's still pre-ordered. but a couple days ago I started to think "eh, maybe I'll wait." I mean, i'm not even through the 3rd season of Forza 3, picked up MW2 at midnight launch, and I've also still got a sizeable chunk of Gay Tony left. meh, there's still almost a week to think it through, so barring I don't change my mind, yeah i'm getting it.
I will be purchasing it, and will more than likely (assuming my luck doesn't change, it does) attend the midnight launch. Last game I midnight launched was Resident Evil 5. I love Left 4 Dead. It had enough "content" to warrant a purchase and it was so replayable, this is essentially what I think all games should be. Stop trying to be "revolutionary" and "immersive" and just let us kill **** with 4 friends.
