okay so when i first started playing the single player campain i didnt know how to save so every time i finished a chapter i would quit then when i felt like playing again i just selected chapter 2 just about 5 mins ago i selected the last chapter and finished the campaign but i didnt get the achvemnt...whats going on?

you need to do the entire campaign in one go to get the achievements

Yup. It takes less than 45 minutes though (takes me an average of 35 mins) so you can get the achievement really quick.
