Most fun ive had in 23 years of gaming man. I simply am blown away by how much fun this game is. i find it very wierd how i enjoy a demo more then full games i have bought this year (gears2, fable2, fallout3, farcry2,LBP, etc..). I bought gears 2 and like the coop but i just cant play that game much at the moment after trying this amazing demo. Left4Deads gameplay and funfactor just destorys any other game thats been released this year imo. Also the best AI ive seen this year for enemys (Crysis Warhead and Gears2 also have great AI)

n stinkin expert pretty damn hard n annoying... me n my friends keep dyin.. too annoying! try again tmr :) lol

Yeah thats odd, this demo is more fun than I have been having lately with other full games. The coop for L4D is sweet too. Also love how when you die the sitiuations can completly change, like weapon, ammo, and health locations aswell as enemy postion and numbers.

Hell yeah, the AI director really makes for a totally differnt experience everytime you start the game up. Coop perfection imo (:

Glad to hear it man! Just keep trying on that EXPERT difficulty and make sure to really work as a team and use good tactics, thats the key to Expert (we couldnt beat it our first 8 times then we started to beat it alot easyier, just gotta work as a team hehe).

Atari, Nes, PC, owned almost every console that has come out man ;)

But there is a picture of me from a few years ago in Brazil (was 22 in that picture)  8)

Just a normal guy who enjoys videogames, UFC and foreign movies in my spare time. And Left4Dead just happens to be the msot fun ive had on a videogame in YEARS  :)

I gotta say I was very impressed by this game when I did get a good team to play it with. When my team was terrible it effected the whole experience. I hope I'm able to pick this up on day one, if not Christmas is right around the corner!The_Dark_Jester

I agree man, it really pays to play with good friends hehe. Or else sometimes you get random people shooting you and what not hehe, making the game alot harder.

I played the game on advanced it's hard but playable. Normal's far too easy only thing though is i'll only play advanced with friends because with complete strangers i might die a lot more than usual. I am finding a lot of people think they're rambo and go die. Plus some people wont even help i sat by while a smoker just sat there alone and took me out. I know you can kill them but i'm not really sure how i just mash buttons

Yeah they're pretty freaky. The worst spot to fight them is the subway because there's no room to manuever. I just run back and shoot its head as much as possible. They're so ugly looking lol. I hate when they just sneak around you sometimes they'll disappear then bam a minute later chucks a rock at you.

I love this game! I wanna try the forest level is that the farm one? The outdoor level with lots of trees.

Hell yeah the farm is part of the cornfield level i heard. Cant wait to get on the john deer tractor and get the zombies!

just got through playing it a few times *would have played more but it's getting late* 

all i have to say is WOW. I was not looking to buy really any games this fall...i've at least got L4D now. it's a deff pick up.  

Worst time in history to get the RROD, luckily i had a good 30 minutes of playing L4D before the thing fully died on me.Hott-FuzZ

Demo was great cant wait for it to come out.

I played it through once and liked it a lot. Frantic gunplay and crazy zombies were nice. Thought the sound effects created a creepy atmosphere aswell.

What else can you do in the demo, is there any kind of multiplayer death match etc ?

 Multiplayer (outside the co-op) would make this an essential purchase for me.

Hundreds of times? I've played through it 30+ times. Played it bunch of times with a different set of friends every few times. I've played it a bunch of times solo without any friendly AI, and a bunch of times splitscreen with my brother. 

Left4Dead just happens to be the msot fun ive had on a videogame in YEARS :)

I can easily agree with you on that. Being 28 and owning every console ever made since Atari 2600 Ihave seen and played ALOT. We should get together and play once it's released.

I was a bit skeptical about this game, due to the flood of new realeases, but this game has proven to me that I would not be disappointed if I did purchase it. I downloaded the demo thinking "I'll play this for a sec"........ 4 hours later I'm wiping my tired eyes hoping to get a med pac b/f my dying team does. This game is by far one of the best, if not the best, games I have played in a long time. Replay value through the roof ( If I played the demo 50 timed already, just think of how much gaming someone can get off the full release).

I don't see what the big deal is. I mean it was fun, but I can see that kind of gameplay getting old very quickly, just mowing down horde after horde of zombies. The opening cinematic was really cool, but that was more fun to watch than the game was to play. This demo certainly isn't better than some of the best games out right now, and I can't really see why people are calling this the best game in years. The demo was fantastic everything i thougtht it would be, me and my bro slit screen on line playing with 2 other friends made me feel like master chief agian. I wanna talk about online and how fluid it feels no lag and how awesome Valve is! I have to go out on the line and say this is gonna be my game of the year! i dont care if it scores a 5.5 here on GS, i just love valve and  zombie games.

First I would like to say "Go Eagles". As for your response, I'm not a Valve employee but I found this demo to be more fun then some games. I mean the scale of zombies that come after you is overwhelming, not to mention the sense of teamwork. I really feel like this game is a must buy (If you can afford it with all these great games coming out). I mean it is your opinion, but some others (like myself) had a blast playing it. I can't wait to go home and play it some more.

Well it's just loads of fun. I've replayed the level like at least 80 times and everytime i had a blast with it. Everyone has their own opinion you just don't like the game as much as others. Just not your thing doesn't mean the game is bad. I've always been a huge zombie fan and how many good zombie games are there? Very few that are good. Maybe i'm just biased i don't know all that i do know though is that this game is so much fun.
