Left 4 Dead Offline

Hi,

I was wondering what the multiplayer capabilities of Left 4 Dead are. Is it something like Halo where it's 4 players offline or is just 1 or 2.

is this game any good. ive been kinda iffy on buying it. i dont play online so what do you guys think?

well its an absolutely amazing game! which should b played by everyone but since u don't play online might as well pass on it, cuz the campaign n vs mode is the best ever if u play wit others instead of AILightColor

thats what i was worried about. but yeah i guess ill pick up RE5 or SF4. thanks
