Left 4 Dead Offline?

I was wondering now that Left 4 Dead is like 20 bucks at a lot of places used, is it worth buying if I'm an offline gamer? I know that it's a really great game, but can I get some decent gaming out of it offline?

I just bought it myself earlier today and played through the No Mercy campaign offline and had a blast playing it. For $20 it seems worth it to me.

For $20 is worthy, especially since it has splitcreen.

The game is way better as a multiplayer game, but in reality, if you are going to play online the Steam PC version would be way better, espcially because of the otrageous high Live membership, no mods, no free updates and less realible wihouth dedicated servers online.

In 360 as single player for $20 is worth tho, only because is cheap.

Thanks guys. I figured as much, so i might just end up waiting unitl i get all my great holiday games, because it might be even cheaper after left 4 dead 2 comes out.

The campaigns are really short and you could easily beat the game in a single evening, so paying full price for it without having other people to play with would be kind of lame. But for $20, its worth it.

If you have friends that can play with you at your house then it is definitely worth it. For me, part of the fun is going online and playing with other people or my friends and going through the different campaigns with them. If you're a hardcore zombie fan then pick it up, but I strongly recommend playing this with friends.
