Left 4 Dead or Gears of War 2?

I can't decide which game to get. I enjoy FPS's and all shooting games. I have not played Gears 1 though. Which one is more fun?

By the way, I don't have live yet, so which has the most replayability offline? (multiplayer bots, etc)

Well, i own gears of war 2, and i must say your done with it in a few day's unlike Gow1,  the campaign is great and it will take you on for a day, but the online isn't really that great jet. There are just to many chainsaws being revved all around you while your standing alone with your shotgun in the middle, so Gears is great, and the online will probably improve sooner or later, but for now, i would buy Left 4 Dead.

I have both and my vote is for Gears 2.  Better than the 1st one, the campaign is great and you can use bots for the multiplayer and at the higher difficulty the bots are good.

L4D is good, but you need xbl to get any value out of it.  I have fun with it, but Gears 2 has more and imo is more bang for your buck.

left 4 dead. its a lot of fun, I've been playing it for hours and hours on end and haven't gotten bored

gears 2 has an awesome campaign, but DO NOT buy it now. wait until epic fixes the damn match making. I've yet to actually play gears 2 online because i don't have the patience to wait an hour to find someone. maybe tomorrow enough of my friends will be online that we can just make a game via invites, but damn man, given how short the campaign is, being unable to play it online makes it totally not worth it

If you onl;y have a 360, I'd say Gears of War since you should get more bang out of your buck.

If you got a decent PC, built in the last 3 or 4 years, Then I'd say Left 4 Dead.

if you want left 4 dead get it for PC as valve will give lots of support for itdan-rofl-copter
