I'm actually not pleased with it. Artstyle to me is so-so, but they announced a sequel to a game where there already should have been more maps for it before announcing L4D2.
I agree. I first thought it was new DLC with new characters, maps and weapons but guess I was wrong.I'm actually not pleased with it. Artstyle to me is so-so, but they announced a sequel to a game where there already should have been more maps for it before announcing L4D2.

I will not purchase it until they either release some new campaigns for L4D or they show that L4D2 will actually either have a LOT of content or it will be supported with new campaigns.
What I dont like about Left 4 dead 2 is that they changed characters and that chainsaw looks like a copy of gears of war.
I smell a cash grab. Instead of creating DLC for L4D, they quickly create another game which they can get more money for.
[QUOTE="-SPECTER-MIKE"]My thoughts exactly. A sequel one year, if not less, apart from the original? With the original getting no new campaigns when dlc was suppose to be the whole reason you would buy L4D.. I am so disappointed in Valve it is ridiculous.I smell a cash grab. seriously at the beginning of that trailer at the confrence i thought it was a trailer for dead island cuz of how bright it was but then saw left 4 dead i was like o wow. but still pleased at the same time but for me i think its too soon to release it. like what are they going to add new maps new weapons. what about gameplay anything diffrent? still have my fingers crossed but i think it will be the same game really
It's too early to release it. One year after the original, they should atleast delay it and give the first game the DLC content that it should have had this year.seriously at the beginning of that trailer at the confrence i thought it was a trailer for dead island cuz of how bright it was but then saw left 4 dead i was like o wow. but still pleased at the same time but for me i think its too soon to release it. like what are they going to add new maps new weapons. what about gameplay anything diffrent? still have my fingers crossed but i think it will be the same game really

I cannot understand why LFD is so well liked. Is it just from the ppl who play fps and ONLY fps? I tried the demo, and I didn't see much that differentiated it from any other crap shooter out there.

Im super stoked, Valve has never relased a bad product and i doubt this will be the first. I spent over 100 hours on left4dead so hell yeah its worth the price for #2 imo. The game is just alot of fun with friends. If Call Of Duty and Madden can put out new games each year, then why cant valve do it once?
