Length of mass effect 2?

Okay so i got Mass Effect 2 on wednesday and since then I have clocked about 12 hours into it. I just saved that one colony that ash was on from the collectors, and now the illusive man says that im about to go on the suicide mission. Can you please tell me without spoilers if im close to beating the game? Also, probably almost 1/3 of my time has been spent doing side quest.

Im 35 hours in now and havnt beat it yet. But I am hunting down every side quest, talking to everyone around the gtame after each mission becasue you get some extra side missinos that way.

I think ill be done with the game in abit though. Around 40 hours is what im guessing.

You can just run thru the game fast in about 15 hours but its muc better hunting down all the game has to offer imo.

33hours to do everything.

My first time through was about 23-25 hours.

I played it on normal as a soldier. I did problably 95% of the sidequests I found, and scanned quite a few planets.

I just started my second playthrough as an adept on veteran difficulty, and I can already tell its going to take a lot longer. Soldier was fun, but definately easiest of the classes imo

If you take your time, look around and you do all the sidequests and a wee bit of planet exploring etc. you'll pop up at +25hours. That'll be my guess.

I'm on my second playthrough, almost 30hours in, got just about all party members and then I'm soon off to Omega 4. A fantastic game.
