Ms Pac Man is the better game, but I certainly wouldn't buy both.
Root Beer Tapper and Joust are the best retro releases IMO. For the newer games, Lumines is a great title -- yeah, it's expensive, but essentially has most of the content of both PSP Lumines games available at half the price (Lumines Live will run you -- total -- about $20, whereas Lumines and Lumines II will run you $40... $240 if you don't have a PSP). Heavy Weapon's a good release too. But like the others say, download the trial versions and pay for the ones you want.
