Well I don't have quite that problem but, My Xbox live gold expired today and I had a nice new shiny 12+1 month pre paid card ready to put in, and guess what it tells me, "This code is invalid, please try again."
So after trying it over and over about ten times I decided to call Microsoft support. After going through the automated process I was directed to Xbox Live customer support where I got hung up on as soon as I said hello... Yea I was mad..
So i call back again and go through the same process again, this time someone actually talked to me. After taking all my info this is how the convo went:
MS Rep: (in a very low mumbling voice)Hello how may assist you today?
Me:Umm, yea I've tried to enter a new Xbox Live Pre Paid 12+1 code and it says its invalid.
MS Rep: (female faintly giggling in the background) Ok, where did you purchase this card?
Me: Ipurchased it at wal-Mart.
MS Rep: Ok well, thank you for your time, I'm sorry to tell you that our account signup servers are down until tomorrow, please try again during the daytime.(Hangs Up, without another word..)
Needless to say, Live might be having problems, but I'm not happy about that guys attitude, maybe he just didn't want to deal with me? :roll:
