Long time no see Lost Odyessy

Lost OdysseyTM is one of my favorite games but I haven't payed it since lastsummer(I am on the third disk where mack & cook wander off). I haven't played this game at allbecause: I get sucked into the gameplayand play for long periods of time, long periods of wandering around aimlesly, my siblings hog the xbox, and mostly because of lack of time because of school & Katrina aftermath.

And with summer aproachingI feel like beating the game. The problem is that I forget how to play and what I am doing, but how can I forget about the amazing story. Im thinking about getting a Prima guide or should I just jump back into the game ASAP.

The game is okay, but the story's drama is overwrought and the battles are so simplistic and slow that they borderline boring. I think the development team behind this game shows great promise for future work, though.

Great idea. The story and its characters are amazing and the turn-based battle system is almost perfect. I love ring systems. I think I'll play it through again this summer.

I've tried so many times to get into this game but I just can't. It's really hard too. I'm at, I think, the second boss? It's like a giant worm. It draws power from the little things it spawns to fill a power bar. Once the bar is full it uneashes a powerfull attack. It took me at least 15 tries before I beat it, first and second version. When i beat it I thought great, thank FFT. Problem was right after that you've got another boss battle. About 100 soldiers dressed in white that have melee fighters, archers and some guy hitting you with magic. Not surprisingly, they killed everyone in my party. This now means I have to beat the two worms again because I couldn't save before the fight with the soldiers. TBH my attitude towards Lost Odyssey at the moment is **** this. I can't be bothered. It's too hard. Maybe I'll try again some day. Maybe not.x-2tha-z

this game is is from the same guy who brought you most of the FF series and the composer as well.?

also I know the 3rd game by mistwalker (or whatever there name is) got canceled it was called cry on. as far as lost odyessy 2 I haven't heard any thing.
