If you're just talking about single-player on the Xbox 360 then it has to be Oblivion. If you're talking about SP all-time, then it has to be FF VII or FF IX because I play them every year.
Well, the longest I have played was Samurai Showdown 2 for the Neo Geo. It was about 3/4 of a foot. Now the most time I put into a game is kind of tricky because I have never done it. I'm not positive, but I bet you I could stuff about 30 Swatch watches in that same cartridge.
Easily Morrowind. I have not yet played Oblivion, but I'm told there is a little less to do and less reward for exploration in Oblivion (since the loot levels with you instead of having as many unique items to find). Anyway, I spent over 250 hours on a single profile in Morrowind GOTY without ever finishing the main quest. I just spent way too much time trying to find every place I could loot and every NPC with a decent unique item to add to my collection. I eventually acquired enough stuff in one area that the game would freeze when I tried to continue the main quest, so I never finished.
nobody really ever heard of this game, but Legaia 2: Duel Saga was extremely long as well as extremely difficult. It was one of those games that only die-hard rpg fans could enjoy.
This generation its between NBA2k7 and Oblivion. All time its between: FF7/8/10 , Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Oblivion/Morrowind, Ninja Gaiden, Halo 2. I've played them all for a crapload of time so I don't know which one is the most I've played.
