The Godfather had good achievements and they would not force you to play the game unnaturally for them. Fallout 3 is great for achievements in my opinion and the game gives you a quality experience over many hours of game play.

I don't think games like fallout 3 are good for achievements...it's a great game but the achievements are spreat out in huge gaps.

Fallout's just make the player do all the marked side quests basically, so it really isn't spread out if you follow the quests.
Bully: Scholarship edition has easy, but fun achievements. While some are collecting ones, others are things like "Egg 25 cars", "Throw 50 stink bombs", "Kick 100 footballs" and "Trip 50 people with marbles".
this isnt an old game but its super fun the new battlestations pacific game check it out..theres a demo on live the game is sick...i dont know how its not more popular tho

Fun achievements for me...
Gears of War
Gears of War doesn't have any good achievements. Only if you reload like 20 times. Well, I guess there's some harder ones like having to kill a thousand guys online, and stuff like that. But there're no fun achievements on there.
Any guitar hero game (if you're into it of course). If not, then I'd say Call of Duty 4, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Devil May Cry 4 and most action-adv games.
