I'm looking for a new TV for playing my 360. I was just wondering what would be a good option. I would like it to be a little over 40 inches (42-46). Also I don't want to spend too much. Any help would be great.

I bought a 26" Dynex 720p from Best Buy for $320 (including the 2 year warranty plan). I would've gotten a larger size but my room isn't that big so 26" fits fine.

For gaming 720p is fine since all 360 games natively run at 720p, only very few run at 1080i/p.

Good to know, how bout the hz? I heard that 60 is fine because no games run over 60 fps. Is that true?

Each day around 3 pm, gizmodo posts their deals of the day. There are *always* TVs around the size you want for great prices.

If you're buying a 40" TV, you don't have to worry about 1080P; if you get a TV with 120Hz or better refresh rate, it's almost guaranteed to support 1080P....

It's really just up to your budget.

How much are you looking to spend? I would wait for Black Friday sales if you can wait that long? I bought a 42' 1080p Vizio. It was like a grand with three year warranty.

I'm not too worried about price I just want to spend the least amount of money while still getting a good tv that will last me awhile.

You know honestly I find 32-37 inches to be best suited for playing video games (I have a 37 inch television myself).

Any bigger and its like... Too much effort to look around the screen.
