I have a set of Tritton Warheads, wireless 7.1 Dolby Digital and built in wireless chat for the 360. I paid $300 a few years ago. They are going for $149.85 on Amazon at the moment. http://www.amazon.com/Tritton-Warhead-Dolby-Wireless-Surround-Headset/dp/B0057S9SYY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1393264508&sr=8-2&keywords=tritton+warhead

Theres quite a choice really, Tritton, Turtlebeach etc

Personally I find the Turtlebeach kit is great value, with excellent sound quality and also in some cases just as important the Microphone is fantastic where you can literally whisper and still be heard, ideal for playing when people are asleep, I have not used a headset that matches Turtlebeach for both Sound & Mic quality. The 'Monitor' ability is also very usefull as it allows you to hear your own voice when talking.

thanks guys these were my two i had in mind. a few questions about each of them
how long do the batteries and battery pack last (i like the fact that the warhead comes with a battery pack and can charge while playing)
also are there any interference issues with cell phones or radios

i had some x12s and the wires were just a pain in the ass and always in knots lol how does the sound compare to them if you have used them?
