After owning a 360 for the past couple of years, I've recently found myself checking out xbox360 titles released 2005-2007 for sleeper hits or unusual titles that may of slipped under the radar at the time..

If anything really made an impression released '2005 to 2007', would appreciate letting me know..

Played 'Prey' and 'The Darkness' enjoyed both. Currently playing 'Kameo'..

Not really into strategy, sports, fighting or driving titles.

Cheers.

Viva Pinata, the original. I liked it alot more compared to the second and it a pretty cheap game. Easy to rack up 30+ hours without a week or two.

"sleeper hits" the only one there that could qualify is Quake 4, but UT3 is vastly superior (on P3 and PC anyway)

what about either Condemned: Criminal Origins or Condemned Bloodshot, if your old enough. I just reciently found these games and got them both really cheap about $20 CDN for both, Criminal Origins was a little harder to find, I have already started to play through them again - GREAT GAMES!

Games I enjoy that didn't get very much attention - Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, Crackdown, Just Cause, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (very fun online when it doesn't lag, if you want to call this a sleeper), Rise of the Argonauts, Mirror's Edge (released after 2007, but doesn't get the attention it deserves).

everyone stop saying crackdown! sleeper hits don't sell millions of copies on the first day (even if it was just for the H3 beta it still counts)

Got a problem with crackdown mate, second time on this thread you've put it down.

I just got round to playing the demo of this game, and its definitely caught my attention.

I'm not a D&D fan or anything, by far, but the Monopoly-like gameplay really just makes you feel familiarized with everything thats going on. Of course, its much more in-depth than that, but it feels worth exploring that depth since you can grasp the basic concept at hand, rather than just blindly going in not knowing what the *(@#$ is going on, ya know?

Dead Rising was a bit under-the-radar when it came out. For action games, Condemned: Criminal Origins was pretty good, quite scary.

its not a sleeper hit.... and i'm not putting it down (lots and lots of people bought it for the Halo 3 beta, thats just the effect Halo has on people)
