I recently bought the 360 and then when I try connecting to the X-box Live I find out I need a Wireless Adapter seperately, ok so I do that but when I plug it in and go to the Network Settings I can´t even select the Wireless Tab! Even though I have a Wireless router it doesnt show up :/

Any help whould be greatly appreciated.

sounds like we don't have enough information. Do you have a Microsoft Xbox Wireless adapter or something else? I think the wireless tab on the 360 is for using a Microsoft Xbox Wireless adapter. Do you have a wireless adapter AND a wireless router? What step in the directions for setting up your wireless adapter fails? Please advise.

Yep i bought the Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter and I have a Wireless Router. My problem is that when I go to the Basic Settings in Edit Settings the one with Wireless Mode appears Grayed out as in cant select it. Also the router in my house is upstairs and my room is donwstairs:/

I hear many people have to use a wired connection to get online because it´s to hard connect wireless? Is that my only option here?

Wireless can be a huge hassle. Some people have it and it works fine, others can't get it to work no matter what they try. You my friend migh be in the I-just-wasted-my-money-on-this group. I'm in that group as well. I gave up on trying to get Wireless to work properly.
