If they can make a true sequel then I think a lot of people would want it.

lol omg it's only weeks since Lost oddyssey got released and ur tlaking aobut lost oddyssey 2 ? geez:shock:

such huge rpg games take a rly long time to plan and create one. Its not like Gears where u can make one in months.

A sequel for such an rpg would depend on many many factors. Such as the whole development team (and its rly huge for such rpgs) if they r going to stick together for a next project or not, and also depends on the sales of Lost oddyssey, and the future trend of the possibility of jrpg fans turn their focus on ps3 for FF 13 and the rest of the upcmming series and other rival ames which r exclusive only for ps3.

I'm rly worried form the fact that xbox 360 is generally targeted for the american-based players who prefer other games and generally dislike jrpgs as a whole. That being the fact, even if Lost Odyssey is in fact a piece of EXCELLENCE, low or mediocre sales could hinder any possibility of a sequel given the fact that LOADS of jrpgs on their way to ps3 too :(

I would like them to turn it into a series like Final Fantasy or the Tales games but a true sequel would be awesome.

Depends if it is successful. Lost Oddysessy didn't do as well as Blue Dragon did in Japan. So maybe there won't be a sequel, though LO appeals more to Western Gamers than BD does. As Mistwalker made BD to compete against Dragon Quest and LO to compete against Final Fantasy. So that means LO sequels depend on us Americans.
