Lost Odyssey or Star Ocean 4?

Both seem good, I am having a tough time deciding. Leaning towards LO a bit more, but would like some more opinions please.

I found Lost Odyssey to be amazing. Very hard to top. And this is coming from someone who finds Tri-Ace to one of the Top 3 developers.

Star Ocean 4has the better gameplay. Lost Odyssey ahs the better story (but thats not saying much though)

I played both and I have to say I enjoyed LO alot more. I found Star Ocean to be extremely annoying in its mechanics and the characters were to much.

Yeah. I haven't played Infinite Undiscovery, so I wouldn't know if they improved those aspects, but from the reviews, I doubt it. Hopefully they get the characters fixed in Star Ocean 5. And maybe improve the story, although I found the story pretty good in the original.

Lost Odyssey brings you an old school experience. Star Ocean 4 will give you a nice hardcore experience.. You can't go wrong either way. I'd pick lost Odyssey though. :P
