i just finished the game and as i´ve been saying all the time before! the game is amazing!

but the part i didint like is seth dying.. and looking at how the story ended how can there be a lost odyssey 2?

i cant see a lost odyssey 2 without the characters that i´ve played with.. especialy kaim, jansen!! any news on Lost O 2`?

and what level where you at when you finished the game? i was at 73!! and took me around 43 hours!! really the gongora part was REALLLLLY EASY!! i had more problems with the other boss wich gongora threew at me then gongora himself!!

last boss was dissapointing .. it was really easy!!

No solid news yet. The ending to me was very well done. I was level 60 at 45 hours. Did some of the side quests. I saved before Gongora so i will eventually go back and do the rest. Also try and defeat Immortal.

I clocked in about 55 hours, lvl 54, with more than 50% of the sidequests done. Seth doesnt die, she went back to the immortal world (involuntarily) So there could very well be a Lost Odyssey 2 (reunion).

I beat the game in around 42-43 hours. Kaim was only level 50 and the others like 48-49.. but having 4 immortals on my team all with the quad-element amulet skill (nullify all elemental magic damage) kinda did it for me on top of having some absorb fire or water damage skills... so basically that light beast did no damage whatsoever to my team.. and gongora well just wasnt hard at all... love the game though.. just too bad theres no shocking surprise at the end... just they lived happily ever after.. oh well.. but ur right bro it is a truly awesome game! I loved it!

I beat it at around the 60-something hour mark. There are a HEAP of side quests and secret bosses. You should do all of them because they all have achievments and all rock.

The immortal is the ultimate of all the non-dlc secret bosses and is the ultimate boss to beat in lost odyssey.

I'm at the 90 hour mark or so and have my party all at about lvl 85 or so and have done about 99% of all side quests.

Seth and Gongora did not die, they went back to their original dimension.

And the full cast from the game are still there except Seth, so I don't see how they couldnt do a sequel. Still, with out the entire cast they could probably make a sequel similar in fashion to FInal Fantasy where each game has nothing to do with teach other.

Like others have said, Seth and Gongora ain't dead, they just went back to their world. I have to admit as well, the last boss was far too easy. I was about lvl 70-ish, it was a breeze. The side quests are worth it, I've yet to face the Immortal eyt though, heard he's kind of tough. The sidequests are also far too easy, not one of the optional bosses pose a threat, they're push-overs. Still, good gae and I hope for a sequel.

Just remember that Lost Odyssey was made by Mystwalker, a studio consisting primarily of people who formerly worked on the final fantasy series. It's very possible that Lost Odyssey could become a series of games connected only by name and common themes, but take place in completely different worlds with different casts.
