The actual gameplay was fun, but the story and characters are really, really lame and cheesy. I never played the multiplayer so I don't have an opinion on that.
I thought some of the aspects of the game were poorly done. For instance, the characters were a bit over-the-top, the story was confusing and overall didnt make sense, the gameplay felt very retro-arcade style like, and there is a lack of a sprint function (character runs very slow). If you had an Xbox 360, I would say, go for it because it's only $20-30; depending on a used or brand new copy. But for the PS3, you're paying full price. What's worst, the PS3 didnt make any noticeable improvements over the PC and Xbox 360 version. That alone, says a lot. I dont think it's worth your hard earned money. Take it elsewhere for a rightful game you deserve.
I bought it cause I thought it looked awsome, and the reviews were great.....that and Shadowrun are my two biggest 360 disappointments. I couldn't trade it in fast enough. However, you may love it, because many people have. Oh, and based on demos, I thought I would love it.
I didn't really like it that much. I thought the combat was a bit boring and repetative. I also thought the story was kinda lame and the characters were cheesy.
But that's just my opinion, some people really love it.
