Thats a pretty tough choice, both those games are awesome. But If I had the cash to get only one of those I would go w/ Crackdown that game is just too fun.
Depends on what you like. They both have great graphics, gameplay, but Crackdown only has Co-Op online ,While Lost planet has more than just one multiplayer option. They are both about 10-12 hurs as far as how long it will take to beat the game, but Crackdown is a free roamer so there are probably hidden things to find and little side missions here and there...a few anyway according to the review.
Crackdown will be awesome because of the leveling and Superhuman abilities like picking up and throwing Cars and huge objects, Leaping from skyscraper to skysraper, to track down your enemies. All sorts of cool weopons to unlock. Granted the whole killing gang member leaders main missions maybe uninteresting after a while, but thats what the Civilaians are for lol.
Lost Planet you Shoot Snow Pirates and Giant Aliens and Kill huge alien bosses. It has great weopons and a story just as drab as Crackdowns.
There both completley differnet genres. If you like Graw, or Gears type games go with Lost Planet, but if you like GTA, Saints Row, GTA clones etc. Go with Crackdown. Im going with Crackdown anyway. Lost planet has one advatntage though..Its out NOW...no waiting:)
dont forget almost nobody has even played the full version of crackdown here so....yeah...but i cannot wait for it to come out the demo is super fun...
I would have to say neither. Maybe rent both of those, but don't buy them. Wait for a game that offers a little more originality than just another shooter or a GTA ripoff that's best known for it's Halo III beta.

He's been bashing 360 games for quite some time now according to his post history (yes, even Gears). Apparently he forgot where the system wars and ps3 forums were and ended up over here.

Well, if you are going to get LIVE in the near future, defiantely Lost Planet, but if you are not, go with Crackdown. Lost Planet's multi is extremely fun and addictive, but the campaign literally lasts about 4-5 hours on the Normal difficulty. Pretty tough choice.

There both ridiculous and insanley great game play. Lost planet is really fun but you have to ride robots in some scenes and Crackdown is so insanely good but the driving is not that good.So I would say, C-R-A-C-K-D-O-W-N
