I love Earth Defense Force, so is this that same kind of mindless over the top shooter but with better graphics? Is it replayable at all?

Oh it's that good. Keep in mind though that I don't like MP. Is it worth it just for the SP?

LP is a solid game, i never touched mp btw =) I agree w/ everyone else, it was worth it when I paid 60$.

i have played the demo and it looks like a fun kill everything shooter and if you can get it for $25 then that is a good deal.

Its a slightly different shooter compared to others but yeah Its worth getting. the story is a bit off, but gameplay and the big bad bossesmakes up for it

yes. i thought it was great. great boss fights, great use of mechs, and looks preety good. online was good too back then.

Yeah it's worth $25. The different mechs and interchanging the different big weapons on them is fun. Wish there was co-op. Never played the multiplayer, but there are a ton of maps out there to download. I don't know if you still have to pay for them.

Yep worth every penny. I loved this game...and I need to go back and play it...the environment is awesome...I live in Alaska so I can relate to the snow covered tundra, snow mobiles etc. I think you'll like it. The bosses were tough in this game especially the last one...geez!!! good luck.

The MP is all sorts of broken...but the SP is amazing, I loved it. Got it when it hit retail.

Agreed. You'll get 9 hours or so out of a single run through of the singleplayer (on easy/reg), too. It shines in MP as well as sp :) For 25 bucks its a great deal. It was actually the first 360 game that I truly enjoyed (back in January shortly after I bought my 360), and it convinced me to keep my 360 after Gears disappointed :) It's in my 360 Top 5 for sure. I happen to think that it is still one of the best looking 360 games too.

Lost Planet has some crazy boss battles. The graphics look great and its online play was the biggest surprise. I was hooked. Its totally worth the 25

It's not so bad...well today is a little cold -40. LOL. I am at work on the North Slope...it gets colder here than on the Kenai Peninsula where I normally live.

The game is awesome. I agree that the storyline is kinda weird but the cinematics are great; very movie-esque. The boss battles are huge and the mechs are awesome. It's definitely worth $25 but I'm sure if you search around you can get it for like $17 (like I did).
