The following is taken from a recent interview with Major nelson from M$.....I bolded the points that really ticked me off.
"We've talked about what it takes to get content onto Marketplace. You guys know: it has to be processed, it has to be developed. Is it easier to process one song and release it and would have it to be more expensive? Or can you take some of that development, bundle it together, and drop the price down. All those songs have to go through that process. If you have three songs entering the approval process, individually, that's three times more problems--and there's more probability for error. So, let's bundle them together, and test them as a unit and drive the price down."
Is it me...or this the most obvious kind of Bull Crap spinning you have ever heard in your life? Hey Major get a life if you think people are this stupid....This is nothing more than a way to justify what is a clear ploy to milk a captive auduence on Xbox Live. You know the biggest problem with this is? People are starting to feel nickel and dimed on Live and they don't take this to be exclusive to this title. Why don't you bundle the most popular songs together??? Oh no - you put two weak ones with a strong one so you force the 3 song buy instead of the one song you were likely to actually sell which essentially means gamer are actually paying $6.00 a song. You know this and I know this and you are now officially nothing but a M$ LapDog pimping BS for M$.
And saying all this gibberish about errors in the process increasing because they are sold individually is such an embarrasing statement to M$ and GH that I am shocked you think people that routinely use Xbox Live with the TON of indivually non-bundled content would actually believe.Â
This is sad. And it coming from a 100% certified Lemming. You don't believe me check my post history. I am nothing short of a 360 FanBOY!
Major Nelson = NO CREDIBILITY!!!!!
