why on xbox live, it wont let someone underaged get free M rated things such as a game demo or trailer, but when it cost money, such as a game on demand they can get whatever they want? this makes no sense to me.

I thinks it's utter BS. It's like they limit the free stuff and they let someone of any age spend money on something. That's M$ for you.....

I was under the impression that there were parental settings on the Xbox360 that would prevent M rated material from being accessed...strange to find out there is not.

I think most people make adult accounts..especially since when you turn 18 your account will still be set to underage. (don't know if Microsoft fixed it or not)

MS: "if you have money, you are mature. Free stuff is for cheap people; kids are cheap and not mature" That's the way I see it.

well in the parental controls there are options to turn off the ability to download anything if not that im sure i saw the ability to put a password on it. Parents just need to actually look.

You have to change it manually.

it use to not be like that when i was 17 and the resident evil 5 demo came out i created a silver account under my dads and info in order to download. The thing that gets is how you have to have a credit card on there when you could just buy point or subscription cards.
