Just found an interesting article about how you can use your Macbook as a wireless access point for your 360. Its fairly simple and pretty useful.

Instead of going out and buying an $80 wireless adapter for your 360, you can just use a $2000 laptop! errr..... okay nevermind the cost. but if you already have a macbook and dont want to give microsoft another dollar, use this guide.

I have tried this myself and i saw no loss in speed, even when downloading movies/demos. hope this is helpful to someone...

Oh---the reason this will only work with Macs is that Mac computers have Airport Wireless cards, which can bridge the wireless signal to other devices via ethernet.

lol thanks! i knew this would come in handy to at least one person on this site. the wireless is the only thing i use my macbook for anymore---my sister dropped it and now the sound doesnt work.... yah. you can sometimes hear some pieces inside rattling around.... but i guess since this mac is almost 4 1/2 years old, its time for a new one....

Hm, I have a Macbook, and an Xbox 360 wireless adapter. If I find this useful and efficient I could sell the adapter. Sweet.

yep. i just hook my macbook up to the 360, turn the screen off, set it on the floor and play. with this crappy old 17" pro i can get around 5 hours of internet play out of it on one charge with about 20% battery to spare. but anyways i find using the mac's wifi (best wireless card out of any i have seen in a laptop so far) gives the same performance of me using my T1 connection.
