madden 08 was horrible

that's weird. I tried the demo and it felt fast and out of control to me. It felt more like ncaa than ever before. I want them to find a medium between the clunkiness of 07 and this new gameplay

did anyone else think this... i mean the game just felt so awkward and slow.... and alsoiterceptions and fumbles happend so much.... i dont know exactly what ea did to screw up madden but man it just didnt feel like maddensvandy88

fumbles yes but once i used the protect ball feature it helped, interceptions no clue what your alking about maybe thats just you i have only thrown a few. but this madden is awesome compared to last 2 that were on the 360, i really wish they would add all the friggin extras though how can you be next gen and cut stuff out???? no create a playbook, why cant i practice while i am in franchise mode with my newly acquired players etc. these are my small gripes

People who complain about interceptions don't know how to read defenses. You're probably throwing to your star reciever who's being double covered. You deserve to get the ball picked when you're doing this over and over.jacksheets

Tottally agree with that. People who throw a lot of interceptions just throw the ball and pray that they catch it. You have to actually look at the defense and find the open man. I think this adds great gameplay value.

For real, this Madden is a great game. Beats both of the 360 Maddens before it, it's WAYYYYY better than APF2K8.

It's the best Madden since Madden 04(Which coincidentally, was the last great Madden game).

Also, those complaining about fumbles and INT's, those are likely your fault.

Exactly. I think this years Madden is the best one since Madden 2004. I like the way that the game is far more realistic than any other Madden game. The reason people hate this game is because it takes skill.

ive played the demo and i didnt like how the blocking systems works now in previous maddens passing plays werent that difficult in this one you gotta be like a godSup11722

no you just have no skill, i am the raiders using J. Russell on All Madden And my completion percentage is 75% after 8 games, i get sacked a bit but if you pick the blocker you want and motion others to block or use your hot routes you can avoid the bad pass protection and blitzes. but dont complain about something you sound just plain bad at no gods here just takes skill and practice

I dont like madden and i always refuse to buy it(ill still pop in 04 every once in a while) but still ESPN NFL 2K5 is the best football game out there still to date. Madden games just dont do the NFL justice i mean when i play tourny's with my friends there are plays that still are money plays which ruins the feel of a real game. oh well maybe once 2K gets the NFL license back thinks will start clicking with EA..... maybe haha Zauster

2K5 isn't the best football game anymore.... Not even close. It was better than Madden 05, 06, 07, but not better than 08. It's too dated now.

It is better than 07' but the game is fundamentally broke. There are certain NFL posession rules the game doesnt get right, Bugs in the franchise:

-stat tracking (a quarter back will throw for 45,000 yards in a season, not yours the cpu's)

-unable to train players (the amount of bugs that cause this are to numorous for me to list)

-stats reverting back to original after you have trained them(related to the above one, but this one really gets me)

-the disappearing quarter back

-disapearing punters and kickers from rosters until there are none left to for you to use, and you then have to restart your franchise.

This is just a list off the top of my head that I have personally encountered during more hours than I care to admit with this game.
