make a 10 man team on fallout 3

You heard it, i have found a way to get 5 regular followers, 4 NPCs and myself !!!

I have fawkes, jericho, RL3, Star and Chalon

Heres how i did it:

1) Set the main quest on very easy and burn through it till i get fawkes with good karma.

2) Get dog meat

3) go to under city for Chalon, you have to first get his contract complete it by killing that girl or buying it if your barter is high enough. Then takl to Chalon and let him tell you your group is too big. Then go outside and set it on Very Hard and let dogmeat be killed by super mutans. Dont kill himi yourself or a glitch wil occur when you go back in the bar they will are start shooting you. Pick up Chalon.

4) Go get neutral karam and go to RL3 first. Heres the trick here. When you go to buy him you have to have Chalon with you cause it doest matter what type of karma you have. you first have to fire him and tell him to leave. right when you do that talk to robot vendor who sales them (tinker joe i think) and buy RL3. Before RL3 can talk to you go to Chalon and tell him to come back with you and RL3 will automatically follow you.

5) Get evil karma and go to paradise falles. Complete the same steps in step four when buying Clovers contract. That is tell Chalon to leave and then buy her contract and get Chalon to follow you and then she automatically follows you.

6) Trade Clover for Jericho (Optional) Go to megaton and fire clover and jericho will now follow you.

7) Get good karma and go to the citidal for Star. This will have to be the first time you have talked to her. Follow the diloge tree:

"you knew my father"

"I miss him and love him very much"

"I dont think i have a chooice"

"I would be honored to have you follow me"

Then she'll follow you.

8) Pick up Red and Shorty from the police HQ

9) Pick up Sticky from lamplight

10) Pick up that merc from the quest stealing independance

And there you go you now have a 10 man team (including yourself) on the 360 version!! i done it last night. karma can easily be manipluated to bad by continued clicking on the computer terminal in megaton at teh staloon or for go by giving water to water bums. The followers wont leave you after you have them when your karma changes. Have fun!!

Heres some tips on managing thys large team. You can basically divide them in half be first tell all your 5 regualr follower to flank the enemy. The 4 NPCs will follow right behind you. and stay with you. This can be consider your Alpha team and hence the firing and suppressing team to pin teh ememy. Then the 5 regualer followers will flank the enemy and they can be consider your bravo squad. you can also set up ambushes by telling your followers to wait. Go in stealth like set up mines and such. Then snipe from a secure position and pull the enemys in the ambush point.

Its a good idea to put the best possiable armor on red, sticky, and shorty. with tb51 and fully repaired teslan armor they can stay in a good fight. make sure they have stimpacks to use in battle. Your bravo squad is equiped with a chines rifle, combat shot gun, flamer/plasma pistle, Guanlent lazer, and lazer pistle/melee weapon ( i always set them on firing wepons).Obviouly play on very hard to maximize combat experance

You now have a total of 9 backs to carry lot out of any where you go so invest in the merchants and get repairs up to 100% so you can increase profits and save on space. When you get enoung money you can equpied all but two team members with any weapon you want. This is when it gets fun cause you can have as many plasma, lazer weapons as you like going off in a fight which really looks cool.

Your team followes in in ranger file (straight line) and looks like a road march formation when rolloing around. Its fun to keep your plaers states low and so you are forced to use cover and promotes tatics. It also encourage exploration if you use the right tatics to get the most out of books and bottle caps in the long run to maximus all your stats.

The way i see it the quest line and quest are just ways to introduce you to how to play the game.

Collect and save every thing that you can make stuff with schmatices, pre war books and scrap metal. You will be makeing a lot of trading so maximis your barting skills cause youll want to keep buying ammo for your team so youll want to increase profits. Oh yeah you need the sconger perk to get more ammo from boxes. managing a squade is so fun. Youll just need to put about 3 or 4 hours in setting everything up. But then you can set up you states so youll want to explore every square inch of the map and find every book and bottle head.

This sets teh stage for you to be creative as you want with every combat experance. This game gets so much deeper and interesting when playing with a little imgation and creativity. Enjoy!

Awesome job. I have a team of 5 right now, doing the same thing as you pretty much. No way I would have figured out how to get 10 though, thanks.

I didn't have too much of a problem with fawkes.. until i walked into moriarty's one time, and jericho walks in and says, "I cant wait to see you bleed !", pulls his assault rifle, and shoots fawkes, fawkes proceeded to whip out the gatling laser and light people up, i ran out of moriarty's as fast as possible jumped to ground from there, and ran my ass off out of megaton. Also, Sierra Petrovita, Agatha, and the Regulators seem to freak if he walks into those building, so i have to tell him to wait outside. Also, those guys that are making Super Jet were like "what have we here ?!" and they all started shooting. I proceeded then to take their jet, ammo and sawed off shotgun. but i seem to remember people saying, "ghouls and super mutants leave each other alone" in the game. I still save **** load of recovery items by having him around.

And as for dogmeat, i heard you couldn't get him if you eat any dog meat, which I could've sworn i did. But i found him in one of the train tunnels filled with feral ghouls on my way to the Vault-Tec HQ. It must've been a glitch or someting, because everybody is saying he was vulerable and stuff, but i faught a behemoth, and the behemoth went after Dogmeat, hit him with his club, and dog meat too like two little bars worth of damage. I've lit him on fire, shot him, and he's been shot about 15 times by an overlord, and he doesn't die. I got mad lucky it seems.
