I actually have a whole story line using the Fallout 3 engine and gameplay. I bought Fallout 3 for PC to be able to use the editor, but lost interest on doing a full conversion/entire game because it would be waaaayyy too much work. Nah, that would take out the excitement and it would seem too action oriented. I would love to see a Jurassic park game a la Uncharted mixed with a dead rising, except there would be dinosaurs not zombies.
why would they want to make one? Jurassic park games that came out with the other films were dire - truly woeful attempts at games. Developers haven't really got any better at making movie tie in games, so there really isn't anything going for this. If you want to fight a T-Rex then go play King Kong - you can fight dinosaurs and get disappointed - pretty much all the qualities a future Jurassic Park games would deliver

Well if you've played Fallout 3, you would understand that the FPS and VATS game mechanic would work awesome in a Jurassic Park setting, as long as there was a sprint button.
And to whoever said a Jurassic Park FPS would be bad because it would be too "action oriented", did you see the movies? Have you read the books? Should it be a video game based on hacking the Ingen network? Or how about a Jurassic Park theme park micromanagement tycoon game...
Very true. I need to rent that game to see if it will suffice my Dino shooting needs.
And I am very hesitant on the new movie... they screwed up Lost World so bad, and the ending to Jurassic Park III just seemed like whoever wrote the script came up with it last minute, literally. I'm pretty sure that since Michael Crichton won't (can't) be involved in the 4th movie, it will be bad. I hope not, but we'll see.
I think it would be awesome if they used the Far Cry 2 engine for a Jurassic Park game... a large open world, with beautiful vegetation. I can only imagine searching the island for food and supplies for survival, and at the same time you try to find shelter and build a boat or plane to try and leave...
FarCry 2 engine would be perfect also. I was only going with Fallout 3 because I knew they would come out with an editor. It was just too hard for me to learn to do a total conversion.

I wanta new movie and one not called Jurrasic Park IV - too cliche. I'm even open to the idea of a reboot more inline withthe original book.A standalone JP game just would have trouble selling.
