that doesn't make it any less sad or make me feel less mortified.....the killing of a child for any reason is disgusting, especially when the child is only a year old....its pitiful and I hope that bastard gets whats coming to him when he enters prison

Oh, I agree fully. Perhaps I didn't show my hatred enough for the guy in my first post, that's why. I pray that "drops the soap" multiple times in prison - the worst sentence of all.
The guy got a sentence of 27 yrs in prison and he was playing GRAW. It's in Kptaku.com I just could get the link. It's pretty old news.

This man has obvious mental problems.I'm not going to say what i would like to happend to him in prison because i would most likely get suspended.But poor child.No offence to the topic creator,But last time something was brought up about "Dad killed child over game" its been closed,This isnt a good read in-fact it got me angry.Thanks for sharing though.

The Destructiod picture isn't the man who commited the offense. Follow the link to the story and you will find the man you are talking about... and yes, he happens to be African-American.

I read on another site that the guy was playing ghost recon but no matter what game he was playing the guy is an a$$hole and a waste of life for doing what he did.

That's cause the topic was digressed from videogames to politics, and there's harly anything aobut that in here.
As for the man, I can understand his anger, that xbox is expensive as hell, and I'm still paying my credit card for it. To be lost in anger though is probably the most barbaric thing I have ever experienced.
I was just about to post that. This is quite a sad occasion for someone to be joking about it. I have an 18 month old daughter and not only what the killer did infuriates me but this pi$$-ant posts something as insensitive as this should be smacked in the head repeatedly with a 360 until his eyes bleed the RROD and sent down a river and over a waterfall in his own MS made coffin.
He also writes some very sexist and derrogatory stuff about women in his blog. What an a$$.
Yeah, I think this is pretty insensitive as well, but I don't see why ppl think its soo crazy to let others know about it. I think it can be a good thing because this is a clear example of showing how gamers are still capable of seeing the obvious in distinguishing fantasy in gaming from reality in life. We all hate reading things like this, but its good to see ppl don't take it lightly as well...

I agree with you. It should be discussed so people are aware that it is the personality of the person and not just the game they're playing that makes people do things.
that is one of the most disgusting things i have ever heard. i really hope that he gets beaten in prison. im sorry, but killing a child over a video game is horribly wrong on so many levels.
See, now not only is he not gonna be able to go back and play the game but any other game that he might of wanted too or see he's precious little 360 again. He got angry just because he lost what he was playing? Please, i've seen worst, like people loosing all their save data cause their 360 broke down. People if you have a 360, PS3, or Wii, on a very open space with many people around don't leave them standing up, they have a better chance of being knock down. Lay them down where they can have a better chance of surviving. and save of all your games to a memory card as a back up just in case you loose it all on your console's.

Thats not the guy actually. I did a google search on the guy (Tyrone Spellman is his name). I don't know who the white guy is, I think they just threw him in there for the /facepalm joke.
