I disagree, Marcus takes cover, master cheif comes running at him but Marcus chainsaws him if he's to close and he definately can't beat Marcus from a distance. My first thought was definately MC but then I thought about it.

Even though Marcus Fenix is more of a badass, probably stronger & tougher, and carries a better weapon, the Master Cheif would win because he has good luck, lol. Just ask Cortana.

Hahahah it's really sad that i know this, but i've actually read the first Halo book so i know that the Master chief was hand picked by a scientist at a young age along with several other children and then given extreme training by UNSC forces before undergoing genetic augmentation creating the super soldiers known as SPARTANS. So i'm gonna have to say that the Master Chief would kick Fenix's ass.
Master Cheif, he can jump and run faster, But if they were fighting in Gears multilayer then Marcus would win cause he could use all those glitches.raylewisnfl52

He can jump well over whatever cover he uses. Even if he was against a wall he could jump like a Kangaroo on meth.
i havent played gears of war 2 yet but ive beaten gears of war and halo...but halo sniper rifle >>> gears of war sniper; halo pistol >>> gears of war pistol; gears of war grenades are practically useless while grenades are crucial if you want to win in halo...sticky grenades ftw. MC health regenerates and so does gears of war. Not to mention the semi auto rifle in halo with scope is probably the best all around weapon in the game IMO. Gears of war you can melee as well as do the chainsaw but in halo it seems like the melees are stronger plus the sword is >>>>>>>> chainsaw. Ill give it to MC bc of the weapons and the fact that marcus movements are more clunky while MC is more agile and can strafe.
