why is this even a perk. i mean call of duty 4 is a great game, but this perk is so gay its like terrorism running to the other team and dropping a grenade. but otherwise cod4 is beast.adamjl140
I didn't use that perk the whole time I had the game untill about a week ago and I have to say that you must suck if your having such a problem with it because I average about 1 kill a game with it because its so easy to run away once the grenade symbol pops up. I really cant see what your problem is.
Only people low on skill need the nade drop to add an extra couple of kills.....
and i agree these is no place for this i do not understand why it is a perk. It's just a pain in the a**

Its funny that you that people with low skils use it, but you are not skillful enough to avoid a grenade that blows up a few seconds after the person dies.

No grenade symbol on hardcore, and on any surface besides pavement, you cant hear it either. But everyone by now should know to just run away when you kill someone.

I am going to take a cheap guess and say you use Juggernaut.

i hate it when people cry about perks and call people "noobs" or w/e for using them. i use the martyrdom perks because theres alot of people that are low on brains. as long as theres dumb*sses that keep running over my grenade after they kill me, im gonna keep using it. you play to win the game.

more like juggerNOOB.its in the game and there is nothing you can do to get people to stop using it no matter how upset it makes you.

It's MARTYRDOM. I can't believe how many times people call it MARTYDOM. There is an R in between the Y and the D. For reference, it's pronounced Mar-Ter-Dum, not Mar-tee-dum. So please, for the love of God, learn how to speak and spell the word MARTYRDOM. That goes for everyone.
Now, that said, the game tells you when they drop a nade and you hear it tink on the ground as well, so maybe next time you should try.....I don't know.......running away? Seems like that works for me. Or you could just not be a knife wench and use your gun from range instead of trying to be cool and melee everyone.
yea its good to keep you on your toes when runnin and gunnin. you learn to not step on the body of whoever you just killed.....
i do use martydom sometimes though... I have one class w/ a shotgun.. so it fits perfect with the style of the class...
It can get annoying, but its part of the game and you get used to it over time.

IT'S MARTYRDOM WITH AN R HOLY S DID YOU NOT JUST READ THE POST RIGHT ABOVE YOU?????????????????
Yea it's a little annoying. But if you think about it it is very fair. These guy's devout a perk slot to have the ability to take someone out. After they die. What makes this less fair then, say, Steady Aim? With steady aim at close range you don't even have to aim down the sights. It allows players to react a little later and still deliver the acuracy of aiming down the sights. At close range. And what about Dead Silence? How is that more fair then Martyrdom? How is it fair that you can move so silently and be unnoticed? Or what about Eavesdroping? Why should they be able to hear your team talk? That gives them a high advantage in competetive games. Also Deap Impact is not fair by the way you put it. You should not be able to shoot through walls so easily. It is a unfair advantage. Same with Iron Lungs. Because of that perk you can hold your breate longer. Line up your shot better. And in effect out-snipe other players. That's not fair. Last stand is also not fair. Why should they get a life extension? You already killed them and there they are lying on the ground. Alive, as someone steals your kill. Not fair.
My point is, if martyrdom is unfair then all perks in "Perk slot 3" are. Same would go for "Perk slots" 1, and 2. If I may ask, what perks do you use? Mabe I think your perk is a unfair advantage. Cause I don't like that you can hustle farther then me, and beat me to positions. Or I don't like that you can shoot through brick walls to kill me. My point is that if someone is using Martyrdom, then they are sacraficing all those other perks and advantages. So before you go saying martyrdom is unfair. mabe you should think about the advantage your perk gives you, and that they sacraficed all those other perks for that one.
One more thing. I do not use martyrdom. I use steady aim, or deap impact. With stopping power and extra Frags : )
Alomst forgot. Martyrdom is not even that annoying. it was when the game first came out, but then you learn how to avoid it. Which is easy. It's like mauler charging at the begining of Halo 3. You get used to it a nd realixe that it is not that effective. Just be a little more cautious, and don'y go charging right at the guy you killed. Try to avoid, and stop you complaining. The prk is perfectly fair.

Thank you. Someone else who can pronounce it. Please listen to him he's right.

Because it's so hard to not run over their body after you kill them instead of run away from their body? -_-. Yes it takes getting used to, get over it.
matyrdom is gay in Hardcore though >_>lexusdealer234
Yeah but every idiot should know not to use it in hardcore because of friendly fire but there are always selfish players that use it anyway and end up costing their team the game.
I ain't a big fan but I use it for the shotgun class since I have to get up close.
But I can't understand why a sniper, who wants to pick enemies from a distance would use it, I have seen that happen.
But yeah it can get overused, when I use any other type of gun I find matrydom pointless because I need that space for a better perk.
