Just got Marvel vs Capcom 3, and I can't dodge any of Galactis' attacks. I really want to be able to beat him on the normal difficutly, becasue if I turn it down, the rest of the arcade mode will not be too easy. But there must be some way to dodge him. I can't find any walkthroughs on Gamefaqs, and on the youtube vids I watch, they just take the hits and keep attacking, but that isn't working for me. Any tips?

Superjumps (flick down then up) are a great way to dodge when used with good timing. Ranged characters are your best friend against the second phase, stay as far away as you can and hammer your ranged attacks (I found Deadpool to be rather good at this). He won't use many different attacks if you do this, allowing you to concentrate on attacking and blocking those big damage moves. Also, his one-shot move (the one that makes everything look red) CAN be prevented if you cause enough damage to him while he charges it up.

well i havent spent too much time in arcade so far but the strategy is to keep up the attack. You have to knock out the two silver bad guys quickly to save your life for galactus. When you get to him to keep up the assualt and make sure that you able to block when he attacks. Try not to get caught mid combo.

You can block his fist attacks just by hitting back. It's best to super jump like someone else said. Down then up really fast. I usually pick 3 ranged characters as they are the best all around for him. When he smashes you with his hands you actually can super jump over it altough I only managed it one time. If he catches you then you just have to button mash to get out. He SEEMS impossible until you down him once an then you will beat him pretty handilly.

In a way he's really no different than Onslaught from Marvel Vs. Capcom 2

Try tagging charactors just before he attacks

Make sure the charactor is all the way to one side of the screen or the other with his guard up

A mix of ranged combat experts & high damage brutes is a good tactic

I see,I didn't even know about the super jumps, that should help. I also forgot about X-factor as well, I tried that out, and I managed to beat him... barely. I would like to get a bit better to have a chance of choosing which ending I get as well. These tips should help for that. Thanks.

And yeah, that super attack thingie where everything glows red, I saw that once, after I died I just saw that happen and I was like, "What the hell? Not another crazy move that looks even more impossible to dodge!" lol.
