[QUOTE="billyd5301"]To make you fanboys look even worse... The original Smackdown vs. Raw for next generation consoles has 38 wrestlers on it. If you really want to say the Smackdown series has been around for 10 years you look even more ridiculous because the Marvel vs. Capcom series has been around longer.
"I have no clue where you get the idea they'll be selling a half-finished game and EXPECTING you to buy DLC for the rest. You know you have a choice in what you pay for right?"
Let's see... I get the idea because they are releasing a game that everyone would want to see 80+ characters on with 30 characters. I am sure a company like Capcom that only released about 15 versions of Street Fighter II would never think of making the first game short so they could sell additional content afterwards.
I know I have the option of what I pay for. Trust me, I won't be paying for this game or the DLC until it's under $20 which will be soon after release. I stopped by just to ask why bother making a wishlist when you already know ove 3/4 of who is going to be in the game.

Really? The last Marvel vs game came out in 2000. That's BEFORE the PS2 and Xbox came out. They can't recycle the same sprites (those have to be drawn, the character models in SvR do not have to be drawn. Ever wonder why there's no "Create a Fighter" in fighting games while there has been a CAF in every wrestling game ever?) If you're going to bring up stupid points, I will. Smackdown vs Raw is garbage. NBA 2K10 has about 400 fully modeled players. SvR is laughable. :lol:I don't have the time to argue stupid points with you about how hard it is to draw cartoon models. All I can say is that the guys who made Marvel Ultimate Alliance much have worked non-stop for years to do such a feat.
You know what you are talking about do you? The Playstation 2 released in Japan in early 2000, it released in the US in late 2000. Is there a point to that?
"Name one fighting game that has added 10+ people through DLC. Those terrible Dragonball games don't count because they don't have to worry about balancing the roster. " So... name one, but not that one lol? Don't worry I wouldn't have named it anyways. Just because a game hasn't released it means that it can never happen right? I must have been hallucinating when I saw that Capcom was releasing SUPER Street Fighter IV. And if you think Marvel vs. Capcom is a balanced series then I doubt you have played it much at all. It's one of the most notoriously imbalanced fighters out there. Sentinal abuse ring a bell? Oh well, probably not.
So... I have named games that have someone fought the adversity and found ways to have more than 30 playable cartoon characters. I have given an example of a game that Capcom rereleased with more playable characters. And I said I don't have time for stupid arguements about how hard it is to draw cartoon characters. You can bump this for 2 weeks I won't be looking at it so feel free. Enjoy your game that is half as big as it was 10 years ago.
