mass efect F-ed up

im at the frozen planet where you have to find matriarch benezia but every time i go into the room to fight her the games shows a bright light and i hear what i think is her dying but then my screen goes black. my xbox isnt frozen because i can still go bring up the dashboard and it isnt the disc cuz i bought it fromthe games market placeon xbox live

If you bought it used it is a good chance it is the disk. If reloading the save does not work try installing the game onto your HDD and see if that fixes. If it wont completly install you can always borrow the game from someone or rent it and install theirs.

idk what to tell you, I'm playing Mass Effect on disk but installed to my hard drive and haven't had any problems. There could be a glitch in the Market place version of ME. I would try changing my party members like CornishPixie88 said to do. Maybe the different cutscene will make a difference.
