As fantastic as the Bioshock gameplay is, I was more invested in the Mass Effect storyline... So yeah, Mass Effect 2!

I haven't played Mass Effect, but i do know that it's a damn good game. Still, my vote goes to Bioshock, as the first is one of the greatest, if not THE greatest game ever made! Ok, Half-Life is number 1... but IT'S CLOSE!

Mass Effect 2 can only likely improve upon what was started in the origional Mass Effect, which was a very good game. Some flaws (driving, side quests, lack of party interaction, combat was pretty easy) but still really good. They could easily expand on the main story with the Reapers and with other forces mentioned in side quests, they can improve the characters and interaction, easily improve the weapons, combat, and powers. There is a very good chance Mass Effect 2 will be better than the first. Bioshock was an ok game, it had great atmosphere and sound. A pretty good story, even though almost all the twist should have been expected. The game was already outdone by Deus Ex and System Shock but since so few people have likely played those here people give it a better score than it deserves. It's an ok game but the sequel will most likely not improve upon it. The environment and surprises of Rapture in the first Bioshock don't seem likely to be repeated nor does the only really interesting twist that the story had, would you kindly. The first Bioshock didn't have the best gameplay or quest structure so it can certainly improve on that but I doubt they can deliver with the same environment, graphics, and story that the first had. If they can't deliever in those three areas again and keep the same passable FPS elements then Bioshock 2 is not likely to be as good as the first. So Mass Effect 2

Why compare them. They are both going to be excellent games, it's like choosing the lesser of two Gorgeous Babes, you can't, you want um both :P

it's a real tough choice but Mass Effect 2 has more possibilities. I'll buy both but if i was only allowed to play 1, i'd pick mass effect on the merits of scale and replay value.

Mass Effect 2 by far. I love the first game and invested so much more time into the story and characters. There are so many possibilities in which direction they could take it, and if they listened at all to fans' complaints, then I can only see it as being better.

BioShock on the other hand, seemed more like a stand-alone game in which everything was just about perfect. I personally think it should have stayed on its own but instead the sequel seems more like a cash-in to me. No information out on it so far has made it seem to melike it was going to be as high of a quality as the original.

Mass Effect 2. Why? It's being made by the same people who made the first game, they're not adding in useless multiplayer, and the series was designed as a trilogy so they're not going to screw around the story.

I'll have to say Bioshock 2, I recently played the first and it's so damn good.
I haven't had a chance to play Mass Effect either.

I enjoyed both games and both of the stories but i will go with Mass effect 2 because Bioshock 2 has multiplayer so i doubt it will have as great of a story as the first. Though this might be too soon to judge it by but i bought the original for the story and i really do not care about multiplayer unless it is co-op.

Mass Effect 2. Bioshock 2 might be really messed up or repetitive. Loved both of originals though. And am i the only one who actually thought the driving sequences in ME were very fun?

Yeah and i liked the battles too. Like jumping over enemies missiles and stuff that. Controls took some getting used to, but it still was alot of fun. Especially searching through new planets.
