Mass Effect 2 - PS3?

Okay, my friend is convinced that Mass Effect 2 will be available on the PS3. He said something about EA buying out BioWare or whatever, I don't believe him though. Does anybody know anything about this that can confirm it either way?

Here's the "further evidence" that it's gonna happen (a low budget website with no association with BioWare? doubt it).

First of all, EA did buy bioware. That has been known for quite a while now. Second, Kotaku is a very well known and respected site, not "low budget" at all. Third, there is a good chance a sequel toorthe first mass effect will be on the ps3.

As previously mentioned EA did buy out Bioware, but as far as ME2 being on the PS3 it's just a rumor. No one even knows if there will be another.msdd9

Its a trilogy Bioware have said that from the start DLC will fill in the gap between Mass effect 2 and then 3

Bioware have stated that the whole trilogy will be Xbox exclusive despite EA owning them they even hinted to having MS publish upcoming Mass effectsukillwegrill

well, i hadnt heard that. thats good news, indeed. however, lets hope this doesnt change. bioware can change their mind at any time, esp. now that theyre own by EA, it could be even more likely

They'd have to release Mass Effect on PS3 first. You can't just go giving people 2 out of 3 pieces of an epic storyline. And good luck getting Microsoft to agree to that one.

i was reading the new EGM and they said microsoft will publish the final two mass effect games and bioware/EA will be a developer.

mass effect 2 has been confirmed for a while now. it was planned a trilogy.

if a game sells 1 million copies in 3 weeks, then microsoft will throw as much money as possible in order for it to be exlucise.

Mass Effect on a PS3 !! thats like saying that Metal Gear Solid comes to Xbox 360. MS has a signed deal with Bioware/EA for all three games, but maybe the money are going to be to big for EA.SaintRasmus

NAH but seriously it's just a damn Rumor i doubt it will happen so will leave it at that untill we hear more news, BUT there will be no more news because its a lie haha PS3 will never get it never!.

And one more thing XBOX 360 is getting MGS4 theres many facts to prove it. :twisted:
