Here are some of my thoughts:

  • More squad players ( get the salarian people )
  • Be able to customize the mako
  • A more longer story
  • Pistols need to be smaller!

More main missiions, less planetary searching, or at least have the mineral deposits already showing on your mini map.

1. more decision, 2. your decision altar the course of the world, dam ill be all over that. 3. idk mass effect armor were kinda gay it will be cool to have stuff that looks like mastercheif or something idk

More weapon types. Run differently(lol). Longer story. More decisions to be made(preferably ones that could change the storyline completely).

Let's see.

1) Don't take 15 hours before making the story somewhat interesting.

2) More set pieces, less artificial lengthening.

3) Greater degree of control over part members.

4) Grittier combat.

5) Space segments. Let us really command the normandy.

  • Larger selection of weapons and armor
  • Your class decides what weapons you can carry. No more being a biotic that carries a sniper rifle, assault rifle, pistol, and shotgun and none of them are useful.
  • More depth to planetary exploration and discovery.
  • Decisions play a larger role in how the story unfolds.
  • More control of your squad.
  • A longer campaign.
  • A little more diversity in combat. Singularity + Assault rifle is way too easy to dominate with.
  • Less linear environments. Granted, the scenery is beautiful, but there's still a certain path you have to follow.
  • Change up the interiors of buildings.

- no more stupid running

- longer, more interesting main story line

- more detailed planet exploration (no more big rocks w/ a little outpost)

- armor customizations?

- better sniping

- multiplayer? mayb not...

my Mass Effect disk broke during my 2nd playthrough =[

longer story, more weapons, more people for your squad, and more side missions. but over all a good game.

Better cities. Make the universe believeable and seem like it's epic. Like why not show each races planet? Explore it and see the differences in transportation,architect,life styles,and etc.

Well seems like all the good ideas have been said already. I'm just interested how they're going to continue the story from ME1. Considering all the major desicions you could make, and the numerous endings, who died, who lived...

Make the game longer than 10 hours. You might argue that the side quests and reading the codec entries bring the game up to 25 or so hours (which is still bad for an rpg) but honestly those side quests with the same buildings could've been done on the dreamcast and the game would've recieved like a 5/10. So the side quests shouldn't be considered as a REAL part of Mass Effect, they were simply bad filler content.

- Fix lag issues and texture pop-in. I don't mind the load times and the elevator rides but the lag and texture pop-in need to go. - Definitely a longer game. It took me 15 hours on my first try, which is too short for an rpg. I tried doing some sidequests at first but hopping between galaxies to land on just one dead empty planet to complete one sidequest was a waste of time. I had much more fun completing the story so I didn't bother with the sidequests anymore. - Be able to see which galaxies / planets you've visited already. - Better team AI so that when I take cover, my team doesn't come to take cover behind the exact same object, blocking my way. - New Mako controls so that you have an accelerate and a reverse button instead of camera-based driving. I think they did this with the PC-version so I have high hopes that this will be implemented in Mass Effect 2. Except for a longer game they're all minor tweaks I think, but it'd make the gameplay so much better.

I was a bit disapointed w/ mass effect but it was still fun to play it once i dont wanna play agian for a while cause your renegade did nothing to affect the story unlike KNights of the old republic your decicions aculy effected what happend when it happened and how it happened.
