While it's hard to compare them because they're very different games, I'd have to go with Mass Effect 2. There's a lot of different things you can do it in like quests and missions, lots of side-stuff and some pretty fun gameplay overall with a good combat system (the combat was better than the first I think, felt more like Gears of War). Bioshock was alright but it was just a little too linear for my tastes, pretty twisted and sick though! As far as fun factor, I'd go with Mass Effect 2.
Bioshock hands down. It was, to me, just an overall better experience. I loved the atmosphere and design of it. Mass Effect 2 disappointed me a bit with it's placeholder story and lack of actual RPG elements that made the first game so wonderful.
well i dont know why you compair them but id say masseffect because it is so full of things to do (and no offence to bioshock i like it to)and has a better story
Just get both, neither is tooexpensive at this point.
To answer though, Bioshock. Mass Effect 2 is a great game by all means but Bioshock is more original. Mass Effect 2 is a fun game to play; Bioshock is an experience.
Bioshock in everyway. I'm not a huge fan of Mass Effect. I've played RPG and strategy games my whole life but Mass Effect never appealed to me. I'm not saying it's overrated but in my opinion I don't think it deserves all the praise it gets compared to alot of other RPG/Strategy games out there.
Mass Effect 2 is way better then Bioshock 1. More choices, more endings, and definitely more fun. No other game can give you an emotional link then that series.
I never really cared for Bioshock so my opinion on this is shrouded, I would believe it if I was told it was better than ME2 though, ME2 is not as RPG oriented as ME1 was. ME1 would be better than Bioshock though because it is the best game ever on THIS gen systems.
