You take the role of Commander Shepard who is a rookie Spectre. Spectre's are the "FBI" if you will of the Citidel Council. A Spectre named Saren has a hate for Humanity, who has just recently came to the Council because of the discovery of an anchient technology of the extinct race of alien known as Protheans.Saren's hatred for humanity stems from the First-Contact war in which his brother was killed by the humans. The geff (I think thats what theyre called) are a race of an AI who were constructed by the near extinct Quarian race of alien, and the geff turned on their "masters" and massacred them. Making an AI has now been made illegal because they do not want a repeat. Saren has found an alien artifact, most likely something of the geff, and plans to use it against humanity and all of the citidal counsil races, which if I remember correctly are Salariens, Aris, Batarian, and Krogan, and now humans. As Shepard you must find Saren, uncover what he plans to do, and stop him.

Now, all that was pulled from memory so its more than likely I got something wrong but I cannot wait for this game. This has been my most wanted game of 2007, yes, more wanted than Halo 3.

It's going to be like a next-gen combination of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire.

This will be the only game that will get me to take Halo 3 out of my 360 this holiday season.

It'll spand aross a galaxy. It's by the people that made Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. It'll use Gears of War cover tactics, have multiple endings, branching story paths, the ability to pause in battle to strategize or just do it in the heat of the action, and it'll be awesome.

Did I mention this is by the people who made KOTOR?

KOTOR 1 & 2 were both great games but I did not really enjoy those two games as much as I enjoyed Jade Empire.
