I'd like to buy it but I hear it has lots of glitches, will microsoft fix these overtime?

from waht i have seen/played/and heard the gameplay is way worth the glitches. yes its something they will work out in the sequal's but the glitchs are minor and not worth it to get so pestered over them. the game is too great! but hey thats just my opinion!8)I'd like to buy it but I hear it has lots of glitches, will microsoft fix these overtime?

i found one and i dont know when it started... i was on feros... and all of a sudden i noticed that my 2 team mates were not following me. i kept pressing the regroup button and they still would come... they were just standiung there looking at a wall. if i sent them somewhere they would but if i tried to get them to follow me half way through the move then they would just stop and look the same direction... it was really annoying me. i hop when i play it again it may have stopped.adders99
And I thought that was just me. The worst is the framerate, but the game's still awesome.

Not a lot of glitches, but framerate is a bit unstable (not gamebreaking) and the texture pop-up is really annoying. IT takes youm out of the game, but if low textures for the first 5 seconds after every load dont bother you then this game is glitch free, atleast compaired to most titles.
I dunno, none really so far except for the occasional framerate drop like someone said earlier... But I do have a question about the sniper rifle and the zoom - Is there no 'steady aim' on the sniper rifle? I keep trying to figure it out but I can't get it to 'steady aim'... I've wondered if it just doesn't have it, any answers? thanks....__MasterVAL__
You need to work on your sniper skill, to achieve"steady aim"
If anyone decides to fix the bugs and glitches it wont be Microsoft, it will be bioware.Microsoft does not fix things they do not make...
Anyway. I have it and its problems aren't too bad.

I only noticed a few. There was some tearing, but only toward the beginning of the game, and then only a few times. Characters did occasionally get caught on terrain and stuck, but the game usually fixed itself. Only one time did that cause trouble for me, on Feros. In that case I just reloaded my save and I was fine. I also thought the autosave was too sporadic, and so clicking "resume" on the main menu was almost always useless, since it was sometimes over an hour between saves. It would have been more of an issue if you couldn't save the game wherever you wanted.
Sometimes during conversations, your character would get stuck looking away from the one you were talking to. Again, just funny, and not really damagaing gameplay. Character voice volumes sometimes dropped really low. But I turn on subtitles anyway, so it didn't bother me.
So, a few glitches, but I've never seen a game that didn't have a few. Mass Effect, for the most part, seemed to avoid the worst kind of glitches (like camera-control glitches, which are some of the most frustrating). And what glitches it did have seemed managed by the game pretty well. I'm expecting Mass Effect 2 to fix most of those. Mostly I noticed that the game had a lot of the same glitches that KOTOR had :)
i noticed a lot of texture pop-ins and bad shading in some parts, but neiher of those interfier with the gameplay. it was fun and the second time through is still fun.Paper_KnifeI agree with the shading and texture pop ins. At times they are bad, but as far as glitches Ive been playing the game for about 15 hours and I havent seen any. I think its one of the best games Ive bought this year, its well worth it.
