Well Mine slowed down and sometimes it took a while for the texture to load. and i hate riding in the elavators for 10 minutes quader_ac400
Well, thts another way of loading, clever, but boring lol
I agree with the elevator and the texture loading, but nevertheless, the game is amazing, agreed?Luke-85Agreed
Combat is boring. Every single side quest is the same. Characters not very
interesting to be honest.Conversations are, very short, and one sided.
Very overrated IMO.
[QUOTE="Luke-85"]Yah i agreeI agree, I'd rather have a loading screen that an elevator, truthfully.

Well I think they used the elevator thing so you wouldn't have to stop and load every few minutes so you feel like your still in the story instead.

ya i thought that too, plus the new reports in the elevator actual tell you what effect the side missions you've completeed have had on the galaxyCombot is just as engaging as any games. Every side mission is far fomr the same. Characters are more in depth that any in any other ame out right now, and the conversations can last for minutes on end and are NEVER one-sided. What game did you play or drug did you take to think you played Mass Effect dude.Combat is boring. Every single side quest is the same. Characters not very

Great game but a lot of things bug me about it.
There's probably more to complain but can't think of it right now. It's an awesome game that I really enjoyed playing but hopefully these things are fixed if there is a sequel.
its definately a very good game and definately a runner up for GOTY but in my opinion, it is not my GOTY. My top 5 games In Order are:

- Assassin's Creed
- Halo 3

Yea I think I agree with that list. CoD 4 is awesome!
Easily GOTY. Cod 4 and AC dont even come close the shortness of their single player is laughable. Mass effect is amazingly fun, doesnt get boring at all. And how are conversations one sides, some are like 4minutes long and you can take any side you want. Although i agree with the mako, one time i got a GETh stuck inbetween the wheels and my turning was fked up till i died because i couldnt turn or drive for ****Phayse
Have you played through it twice or died and picked a different thing to say? Very often the options will turn out with Shepard saying the same thing, an in between answer that goes well with whatever you chose in the menu, and then the person you are talking to will have the same response usually that also fits the options. Still the conversations are very well done, I just wanted to put that out there.
Great game but a lot of things bug me about it.
Squad members usually make dumb moves and end up dieing all the timeSide quests on other planets were almost always in the same kind of environment, the mine place or building. All just get in, kill, walk back out, yay!Mako missions/ roaming planets with Mako is boring.. Annoying controls and killing enemies became annoying since it wasn't any fun. Can't go to earth? Hmm maybe in sequel. No space battles? Would've been really cool with the graphics this game has. (yea, thinking about that, it could be really awesome if the 360 can handle it) Clicking on planet, survey and read a little note is just plain stupid. Give me the ability to explore etc. or just leave it out...There's probably more to complain but can't think of it right now. It's an awesome game that I really enjoyed playing but hopefully these things are fixed if there is a sequel.

I agree with the earth statement, besides, is there really any point of having some of those planets if all you do is survey them, maybe in the sequel (which IS coming)

But the implemented the elevators quite well though. You do get sidequests just by riding them and can hear sometimes so good conversations between your companions. That is really i can say that is good about the elevator rides. Other then that reason i want normal load screens.
I would say the game with the best load screens in CoD4 (singleplayer). Having them brief you on the mission and have the screen moving around showing you stuff while loading is awesome.

I guess I was just expecting a lot after playing KOTOR and Jade Empire, which were both awesome. Hopefully they better themselves with the sequel, that would definately be a candidate for the GOTY of whatever year it comes out.

I agree, but for some reason the Crackdown ones mess with my head

I actually like italot more than Jade Empire, and I think it's better than KOTOR, but the first time you play through KOTOR it's more than a videogame
