mass effect and halo 3: system sellers?

This topic would be better in the System Wars forum, but I'll be nice and give my opinion. Go with the 360, the PS3 might have some games coming in the future but games like Halo 3, Mass Effect, Half Life 2 The Orange Box, Assasins Creed, Devil May Cry 4, Resident Evil 5, and many others are coming to the 360

There coming to the Ps3 to, but why would you pay for the same games on a more expensive system? Plus the online play is great on the 360. Overall its up to you, because the Ps3 has no games that can stand up to the 360 right now. It might in the future though, thats just a gamble your going to have to take.

Yes, although both consoles have some great games coming out soon, I am still super pumped about Mass effect and if i didn't already own a 360 i think i would buy one to play that game.

I believe if Mass Effect lives up to the hype that everyone is giving it and delivers an enthralling, lasting experience, then yes, it will be a system seller. Sadly Halo 3 will also be a system seller but not because of (in my opinion) the gameplay. The only reason Halo 3 will sell systems is because of the name not because of the content.Soulmine32b

Mostfans who love halo dont love halo because other people love halo. It is the gameplay and it is the content people are after (and halo 3 has lots and lots of content).

Blu ray is far from future proof - there still is no clear winner in the HD DVD v's Blue ray war and it looks like there never will be at this rate.

Id get the 360 and give the PS3 another year of erm 5 to take off. At the moment its pretty expensive and pretty lame
