Mass Effect boss battles

Is it just me, or was beating Benezia quite difficult? I'm assuming that you have to fight Saren in the end, is that difficult?

Actually I thought Benezia was harder to get rid of than Saren was. It wasn't that she was that tough, per se, it's just that she has Asari allies to help her out. Finishing off the commandos while my abilities were recharging was the hardest part, imo.

Personally I just hit her with Overload and then blasted away with everything I had. She's easy to kill without shields, then you can move on to those damned Asari wenches.

I just beat her 5 minutes ago. What's annoying is they put the autosave before the middle cutscene instead of after.marty_81

a LOT of people are struggling with Benezie. I got stuck on her myself.

What you can do to make this part eons easier is to kill her last. People make the mistake of fighting her first, because Noveria is the nearest system to the Citadel and a lot people just tend to go there first based on that fact. I did the same thing and got STUCK on Benezie and kept getting killed.

Luckily, I saved the game manually while I was on Peak 15, right before the Benezie boss fight, and just backtracked all the way to the Normandy. You don't HAVE to fight her. I went to rescue Liara, finished Feroes (which is a lot easier than Noveria), and by the time I finished those I was level 31 and was just blazing through the game so easily. When I went back to Noveria, thankfully I didn't have to re-do anything and just went straight to Benezie and just simply pw3nd her. Literally, it took me no more than 2 minutes to kill her.

Anyway, go to Noveria after you do some of the other missions.

btw... Saren is pretty easy. Here's a good tip

When you fight the super version of Saren in the enclosed room in the garden of the Citadel, there's a wall that you can walk behind (it's the piece of wall that Saren is clinging on right when the battle begins). If you dont' send your squad to cover behind it, he WILL kill them very quickly. It sounds obvious now, but at the time when I first fought him it wasn't apparent that I could actually go behind that wall, because it isn't clear that there's empty space behind it.

tbh I thought she was much easier than saren. Well actually they both wernt that hard at all cept saren pissed me off cause it was tough to hit him. But im doing it now on hardcore so that should be a more accurate assesment.Polish_Dragon

I did beat Benezia, I'm just hoping Saren is easier.

It took alot of skill to beat Benezia, but I did it nice and slow and it worked. It's the asari commandos that did my head in.
